Midway Park, Camp Lejeune, NC

Change. My old home will soon be gone... Hey, maybe it wasn't much but it wasn't all that bad either... It was home while stationed there 1964-68 Just many good memories... Still miss being in the military to this day.... This article came from the Jacksonville Daily News.

Price's Chicken Coop - Charlotte

Now there is some great chicken. Great tasting, not greasy, and very moist on the inside. I was shocked when I got there about 4:45 PM; car's parked up and down the street on both sides and then when I finally did get a parking spot there were 6 lines at the counter about 5-7 deep. But the wait was well worth it. I would love to know just how much chicken they go through on a day like that. Also their hushpuppies were some of the best also. Next time I'm going to try out the shrimp dinner to see what that is like. This is another place that is a must stop and try out while here in Charlotte.

Yep, they still make them down here. So I thought it was time to upgrade the house so I'm having one delivered next week. The deluxe unit came with the little bike for the little ones.

Cheap Joe's

I don't know about Joel anymore. First there is the Joe's Do-Nut Dinette and now this one.

The Cheesecake Factory

Cheesecake one would die for. This one is located in the Southpark Mall in Charlotte. I would have to say that this has to be one of my favorite places to eat at, but only on very special occasions.

No Grease Barber Shop

I'm not all sure what the name of this place is really suppose to mean. Maybe you can't have greasy hair when one gets a haircut here? Any ideas?

Thirsty Beaver Saloon

One of our many local night spots here in Charlotte. I just happened to find the name of this local watering hole rather amusing.
